This year has been tough,

For some, it was truly rough,

We have faced many challenges.

Navigating rough uncertain waters to figure out a way to manage it.

Now, as you look back,

Go on and cut yourself some slack,

You have done well,

Even in the times that you may not have been able to tell.

You made it through, and it’s only by GOD’S grace,

Things get better as we stride and go at our pace,

We are given the tools and means at the right time,

Thus, we can look back on some things without doubt it all worked out fine.

Dear friends,

It’s the last day of 2023… May the new year, 2024 usher in hope, faith, love, and grateful hearts. May we have a better handle on stress and be a positive influence in the world. Happy New Year!!

Life, A Reality

What is real?

Some folks tend to wonder,

What’s the purpose of being in the life you live, we sometimes ponder.

Is there a plan?

Is there a goal?

All these things may not entirely make sense,

Still, there’s one thing to know.

When you’re confused and feeling used

Even by the ones you hold dear and near,

Don’t worry, my friend,

It will all work out in the end,

Some things may happen quickly, while others take longer,

Still, know that even in this time you’ll become stronger.

A Closing of Another Year

2021 has come, and 2021 has gone,

Although some things we faced were huge, we can rest assured that we never faced them alone.

So many things have risen and developed during the time,

Sometimes we wonder, will we ever make it through? Are we going to be fine?

From the departure of loved ones near and far,

We look up to the sky and envisage them as they twinkle bright like a star.

Still, we go through life with many plans,

Sometimes trying to break metal with our hands.

Every year we face a new chapter in life,

What exciting ventures await?

Work, love, friends or family,

It may be one of these for some and for others many.

Either way, life takes you, venture in it with faith and hope,

Even when things look negative, a way will be made, and you’ll be able to cope.

May your journey continue with good health, joy and blessings as you enter into 2022!

Expression

Spread some love and hope, amidst the fear,

To all those who hear

And even share a tear…

Joy is coming…

No rumbling, no frowning,

For it will be well soon,

Even as we speak…

Don’t worry timid,

Don’t worry meek.

New dawn, a new day

May strength and hope follow you all the way.

Reflection: Time goes quickly and one of the most important things is to live in the now

It’s been a trying year, many of us, including me, have seen loved ones depart and move on to their next journey in life.

While it is hard to see life the same again,

The time we had seemed so short-lived, but it was granted to us,

It is what we had then.

Cherishing the good memories despite the now sadness,

Let these fond memories bring us joy and fill our hearts with gladness.

Life is never the same without those who have journeyed on,

But our lives are already set with a purpose,

Even when we feel sad and weak, we are made strong.

Our CREATOR gives us every moment in this lifetime,

May we live it as best we can,

So we can touch the hearts of others, help them to know,

That all will be better in time, all will be more than fine.
